I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.
Good Morning all
Your local Safer Neighbourhood Officers form West Hampstead have been out conducting high visibility patrols during the busy periods in the day. During rush hours times in the AM & PM footfall on West End Lane is very busy to where criminal activity has increased to where they have been several robberies have occurred. Police have responded quickly to location including Billy Fury Way, Black Path (near themes Link) Blackburn Road and the whole of West End Lane NW6. Weapons sweeps, stop and searches are being conducted to tackle these issues, and we want to keep you all up to date with our progress on reducing serious crime on West Hampstead.
Please keep reporting crime to us as this support is much appreciated and important to tackling crime.
